Is Douglas Costa leaving FC Bayern early in the winter? According to Italian media reports, Juventus Turin are considering an early termination of the loan with the FC Bayern.

The 30-year-old Brazilian moved from Juve to FC Bayern last summer and is the backup for Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry. However, with three goals in 19 games, the winger has fallen far short of expectations. Criticism has recently increased significantly. Juventus do not seem to be really satisfied with his development at the Isar.

Juve would like to loan Costa out in January

According to the “Gazzetta dello sport”, Juventus are considering breaking off the loan. According to the report, the Italians would like to loan Costa out again in January to the Premier League or La Liga. The problem: with a salary of 6 million euros per year (net), the left-winger is anything but a bargain.

Bayern are happy with Costa despite his mixed performances, as Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently pointed out. A premature termination of the loan is unlikely to meet with much approval at Säbener Straße.
