Update: Serge Gnabry forced off during win over Freiburg, but not expected to be serious
Update: Gnabry’s injury appears to be less serious than previously reported. Bayern have confirmed that he was withdrawn due to a muscle cramp.
Speaking after the game, Hansi Flick said: “The doctors said the injury was not serious. His back muscle cramped up.”

Serge Gnabry was forced off during Bayern Munich’s 2-1 win over SC Freiburg today.
He was replaced by Leroy Sane in the 28th minute after appearing to sustain a thigh injury.
The winger began limping moments after taking a shot from outside the box which could have caused his injury. But the extent of it will be revealed later today.

The blow could not have come at a worse time for Bayern. Hansi Flick’s side haven’t been at their very best of late, and found themselves dumped out of the DFB Cup to second-tier Holstein Kiel earlier this week.
Kingsley Coman made his return from injury, but Flick would have liked to have a fully-fit squad, especially with the Champions League to resume next month.
