Bayern was on the verge of signing Callum Hudson-Odoi last summer. However, the transfer failed on the home straight due to numerous demands from Chelsea FC. The 20-year-old winger is still on the Bayern radar, but the Blues have no interest in a winter transfer.
As the Daily Mail reports, Chelsea continue to plan with top talent and are unwilling to let Hudson-Odoi go in January. According to the report, a loan deal is not an option for manager Frank Lampard. Timo Werner, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech are set on the offensive wings, but Lampard is afraid of injuries.
As a result, the Bavarians should also be able to scale back their transfer-efforts in winter, if they still exist at all.
For Hudson-Odoi things have not really gone smoothly in recent weeks. He has only played 14 minutes in the Premier League in the last five games and been given one start since the domestic campaign began.
