FC Bayern is plagued by personnel issues before the CL game against Red Bull Salzburg. Head coach Hansi Flick will most likely have to improvise next Wednesday.

The team started today the preparations for the CL game against Salzburg on Monday. It was noticeable that Hansi Flick was not able to make full use of his players.

Hernandez is missing, Sarr and Tolisso are still doubtful

As the German “Bild” reports, Bouna Sarr and Corentin Tolisso only completed some running units today. The two Frenchmen have been complaining about muscular problems for quite some time. While Tolisso is to be spared against Salzburg, Sarr could possibly be an option.

Also Javier Martinez was not able to train with the team and has completed a rest program. The Spaniard was in the starting team against Bremen last Saturday and seems to be the first option for Flick to replace Joshua Kimmich.

Lucas Hernandez was completely spared after he suffered a bruise against Bremen. The use of the left-back against Salzburg is on the line.
